I know nothing ever keeps you safe for sure
Although
No one ever dug down so far
We'd go when heroes
Dropped their bombs outside
No one ever knew I made it, no one I knew
Below nothing ever grows
I'd come to see I'd froze
No one even noticed 'till
I climbed and saw
The new world clouded out the sun
(No icy touch of death to set us free)
No one ever learned

This album rips. I’ve passed on Japandroids for several years since discovering Polyvinyl Records, and I have to admit I regret that decision immensely. This album is fast, furious, and a LOT of fun. Kirk Gauthier
Toronto rivals San Francisco as the North American capital of jangle pop as evidenced by this new record of sunny jams from the Motorists. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2024

Absolutely brilliant, dreamy indie folk-rock. Most of the songs are somewhere between two and three minutes but feel as though they last a lifetime (in a good way). Beautifully heart-wrenching from beginning to end. Kirk Gauthier
