Maybe we should we give it up
I don’t wanna feel that burden anymore
I don’t wanna feel like we’re just holding on
I don’t wanna feel that burden anymore
Turn around
If we could get along
We would work it out
Feeling so alone being right
If I knew what I know I know now
I’d never let it let you go down
I’ll get away from this lonely town
Follow you
Either way I’ll be gone
And I’ll always be away
The day when you come around
Underground
I’ll wait till you finally call me out
Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley
As far as indie albums in the 2010's and beyond go, this is one of the most cohesive and emotive albums I've experienced looking back on it and is Jay Som's best album tokyonoir
What a fun, engaging album. A very dynamic mix of airy, dreamy indie pop and pounding, energetic indie rock. You’d think these two styles would clash, but they meld perfectly in these ten songs. With such a broad scope of pop and rock styles on display here, there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy. Kirk Gauthier
